Repairs, if the device fails
Newer Surrey construction tends to fail in predictable ways: debris from commissioning fouling a check valve, or a relief valve that has never seated properly since installation. Often, yes. Freeze damage ranges from a cracked relief valve to a split body. The first is usually a same-visit repair; the second may need a part ordered in. We will tell you which it is at the time of the test.
Does a townhome complex need testing?
If the complex has a backflow assembly protecting its domestic or irrigation service, it generally does. Strata-managed complexes usually hold this at the corporation level rather than with individual owners.
